Internet Talk Radio Anonymous FTP Archives
This file is a listing of archive sites that make the Internet Talk Radio
sound files accessible via anonymous FTP. Please send updates and additions
to Postmaster@radio.com. This file will be posted as updates are available
to alt.internet.talk-radio, alt.radio.internet, alt.answers and news.answers.
This file may be obtained via anonymous FTP at ftp.uu.net in the file
/usenet/news.answers/internet-talk-radio/anonymous-ftp-list.Z.
Please choose the FTP site that is closest to you geographically. If you know
that many people from your site will be downloading the Internet Talk Radio
files, consider setting up an anonymous FTP site at your location.
For general information about the Internet Multicasting Service radio programs,
send your electronic mail to info@radio.com.
To find the files for the Internet Multicasting Service programs, there are
two ways to proceed:
1) the right way
2) the easy way
The right way is to contact your network manager who might have the
files stashed for you someplace. If not, the network manager can
contact their Internet service provider and maybe they'll have the
files spooled. By doing the right thing, you're trying to find the
files closest to you so you're not contributing to the demise of the
Internet by transferring the umpteenth copy of a file over an
expensive transcontinental or transoceanic link.
But, if you can't find the files in some orderly way, you can always
do the easy thing and find an anonymous FTP server that looks close.
